Dear IAnDians,

Rejuvenation is key to sustenance; of anything at all. Be it pepping up a home by refurnishing it, refurbishing it, or even simply giving it a piece-meal face-lift! One of our stories this week brings you spot-pointers on making the most of ‘corners’ in your home, which are often neglected as nondescript dumps or just left bare for want of ideas.

Taking a cue from the golden classical style, interior designer, Nomita Kohli creates a warm and inviting home in Delhi’s Sainik Farms. The residence oozes oodles of retrained old-world charm. On quite a minimalist note, just the opposite peps up a home in London, where Thompsum+Baroni architects style an old Victorian home into a contemporary abode without compromising on the authenticity of the period characteristics.

Our cover story whisks you off to Burma, right in the heart of the capital, allowing you to savour a meal in the land of The Buddha with nuances of the pagodas, figurines and culture of Myanamar. And of course, there’s more as usual.

We hope you enjoy the issue. Do write in with your feedback on editor@indiaartndesign.com
Warmly,
Savitha Hira
