Our heartiest congrats to Ar. Sanjay Puri for making the Indian Architectural Community shine on the global platform. His contribution to architecture and his sweeping away an ‘Overall Award’ for a proposed building is simply commendable. May he grow from strength-to-strength. Design and challenge go hand-in-glove – globally. Whether we decipher a project in Japan, France or here, in India, we see a common thread underlying the basic tenets of design. Look at Ar. Sanjay Puri’s Sky Courts project – or OXO Architect’s White Tree; they exhibit inherent similarities in design thought. Conservation and landscaping at the Bijolai Palace hotel is another project that drives home a great lesson in humanity.
