Ar. Sanjay Puri felicitated at World Architecture Festival; Art Installations are the new public interaction tools; Minimalist Architecture & more

While we heartily congratulate Ar. Sanjay Puri for his 2014 winning spree on the international front, we are also drawn to the primordial essence of structures elucidated by architects and designers across the board. It is enriching to learn from the newbies and stalwarts alike, how they interact with their structures and what they purport to convey to their consumers. The Gurten Pavillion is one such example – a must read.

On a similar note, art installations seem to work on a deeper intellectual level as they also aesthetically touch the common man, if not to hob-nob in the gray matter; to impact visually and perhaps sow the seed for more serious musings.

On a lighter note, with the festive season coming on, check out the home designed by interior designer Shabnam Gupta – it is bound to inspire.

Warmly,
