Sensitivity gives design an edge; the edge of influencing one’s immediate environment, one’s lifestyle, and of course, one’s mindset. Consider the award-winning residence for a wheel-chair bound inhabitant – it is designed keeping special needs in mind, but appears just as any other urban home would; the secondary school in France speaks of sustainability at a very fundamental level; the Mongkok residence has vertical gardens... each project contributes to a wholesome environment in its own little way, underlining empathy in its form and function.
