We were quite intrigued when we saw the contrasting use of wood in 2 restaurants – Waku Waku in Hamburg and 21 Gun Salute in Gurgaon, and have shared the same with you. It is amazing how a single material can be exploited to convey varying sensibilities.

Speaking of which, we were drawn to the findings of our correspondent, Jahnvi, who interacted with the few families of Patan still practising the fine craftsmanship of Patolas. Do read this feature.
