Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum, Mumbai has just launched an open international competition for a dynamic new museum building, which, it is proposed will be speed-tracked to begin by Oct.’14. The submissions are strictly electronic and close by mid-January’14. Check out the details… It is a continuous revelation – design. It nudges you, creeps upon you; at times, stares you in-the-face; and at others, sets your gray matter a wander. From challenging the potential of a single material like Numen has in Netherlands to aesthetically culling a wondrous user experience in Chandigarh with Ar. Aman Agarwal; from touching the heights of sustainability in One Angel Square, Manchester to sustaining the human side of technology through medical breakthroughs… design is being lauded, enjoyed, imbibed and experienced like never before.
