Elitist Leanings - Vol II Issue 12

Untitled document
Serious design thinking paves the way in a multitude of directions: whether in building design, user interface, strategizing management tenets or for that matter, making new out of old.

The Walbrook office building in London is an example of coexistence – old with new - conforming to sustainability - contextually relevant and contemporarily snazzy. I would say, it is   a fine case in point of walking in the present, with sound philosophical roots. The same applies when we speak of design from trash or for that matter rising up to the challenge of creating a contemporary interior without compromising on our core values.

Close in step with this idiom is the rediscovery of our cherished LEGO ® blocks; from making houses and trucks, to managing complex productivity issues in institutions and infrastructure, management honchos seem to be finding this tool intriguing, to say the least. This is a must read.

Until next week...
