Retail Design, Abstract House, Book Review & more...

Untitled Document

One has oft heard “sky is the limit”. Well, it seems it actually is! What with stalwart architects building golf courses on islands, underwater luxury hotels, and suspended farmlands on buildings, unusual geometry is at play not only in design and architecture, but also in the persona make-ups, as mindsets are being culled by fierce individuality and stand-apart notional lifestyle choices.

The ‘Abstract House’ is one such bachelor pad in Mumbai that spikes its homemaker’s identity. Delving into the essence of such design methodologies is Ar. Sameep Padora’s review of the book, ‘Inspiration: Contemporary Design Methods in Architecture’ and while on the subject of breakthroughs, we decode the forays in the retail industry with an insight into focussed academia for Retail Design.

Enjoy your read.
Warmly,
Savitha Hira
