WAF Landscape Winner 2013, Malik Architecture, Decorate with Mirrors & more...

It is amazing what the creative mind can visualize...and accomplish. The landscape design of the Australian botanic garden is a beautifully orchestrated knowledge exercise, interactive and fun. It’s like a lot of strategy combined with dollops of pure revelling-in-the-design underlined by   serious philosophical thought – that has culminated in this award-winning project. But award or no-award, the childcare centre in suburban Paris that is designed by Hondelatte Laporte Architects or even the cutting-white abstract sculptural treatment of a corporate office by Mumbai’s Malik Architecture, for that matter, follow similar principles of design.

While I leave you to mull over these gems of design thought, I take this opportunity to announce our Pre-Diwali Special Issue coming up next week – specially helmed by our Guest Editors – interior architect Saket Sethi & celebrity fashion designer Ashley Rebello. Here is also your chance to win fabulous gifts from  our associate sponsors Pepperfry.com in an Online Contest that we unveil for you in the coming days.

So stay tuned... IAnD is all geared up to make your festive season special.
